Bogen's CAL Series Loudspeaker features large 8" woofer, which delivers high levels of bass without generating harmful wall vibrations, thanks to its vibration control unit (VCU) which absorbs low-frequency vibrations. Metal Diaphragm Technology (MDT) offers a metal-alloy diaphragm which is as light as physically possible. The benefits are immediately felt in the musical accuracy, fine detail of sound and ease of listening. Magnetic Liquid Suspension (MLS) eliminates the traditional mechanical centering device ("spider") for the voice coil and replaces it with a thick magnetic fluid. In fact, the louder it plays, the more accurate the centering forces become.
