The Falcon 330 has a sleek, IP54 rated, environmentally sealed case and built-in, front-shooting laser. Its powerful 486 processor, running at 33 MHz, operates under DOS 6.22. The Falcon 330 comes with 8 MB of RAM standard, 2 MB of Flash ROM, an internal PC Card Slot, a 16-line screen. There are two keyboard options: the standard 38 key alphanumeric keypad and the 25-key large numeric keypad. Open architecture ensures easy application development. And the Falcon 330 wireless terminal is available with PowerNet Twin Client to support VT100, VT220, HP700/92, IBM 3270 and IBM 5250 terminal emulations with screen formatter, allowing swift and simple integration into your existing legacy system.
While the Falcon 330 provides ideal batch data collection solutions, the Falcon 330 , a wireless data collection terminal, excels in data collection throughut the supply chain where real-time access to dat is required. Its internal antenna is protected and its 2.4Ghz spread spectrum radio options include Cisco Aironet, Lucent (Agere) Orinoco, Proxim and Symbol radio support for maximum flexibility. The Falcon 330 has raised the bar in RF, real-time data collection technology.
With international quality standards set by ISO 9000, Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), Just In Time (JIT), and Total Quality Control (TQC), companies are required to have documented procedures and effective automated data capture applications, such as inventory control, work in progress, labor tracking, receiving-putaway and pick/ship systems. The aptly named Falcon soars in this tough environment.
