Digi's Watchport Sensor features a complete line of Plug and Play USB sensors for environment monitoring. Sensors are available to measure distance, proximity, humidity, temperature, acceleration, tilt and presence of water. The free Watchport Manager software provides centralized device status and sends alerts for remote monitoring through email, pager and computer screen, or send an event trigger to an external application. Their applications include monitoring temperature and humidity levels in a server room, detecting the presence of water in an ATM, activating an information kiosk monitor when a shopper is nearby, protect confidential information by automatically by ending a session at a human resources kiosk when the user is no longer detected etc.
