The EverFocus EDR 1680 Power Plex is a 16 channel MPEG-4 Digital Video Recorder
EDR 1680 Power Plex features triplex operation for simultaneously viewing, recording and playback. It allows 16 color or b/w loop-through camera inputs. The EDR 1680 Power Plex is capable of full screen up to 16 multi-screen display for monitoring and playback. Incorporated into it MPEG-4 compression, Intelligent motion detection with programmable area and sensitivity for each camera, Real time recording (up to 25/30 FPS) per channel, Real time live display (up to 25/30 FPS) per channel and Real time playback (up to 25/30 FPS) per channel. Optional ISDN and / or LAN modules are also provided. It comes with 4 audio inputs and 1 audio output. Event logging for video loss, motion and alarm input are also provided by this EDR 1680 Power Plex. Synchronized video and audio, system auto recovery after power failure, Watchdog functions and self diagnostic technology are also built in. The EDR 1680 Power Plex provides Watermarking and time/date Stamping in exported images. The EDR 1680 Power Plex is based on the stable and reliable LINUX-based operating system.
