The Fargo DTC550 Direct-to-Card Printer/Encoder meets the needs of both security and IT in enterprise-wide environments such as medium-to-large corporations, public safety departments, large hospitals and research centers, and government facilities. The dual card-hopper allows printing of two different card stocks. Incomplete or improperly encoded cards are disposed to the Reject card-hopper. Its encoding options handle magnetic stripe, prox, contactless and smartcards. A lamination option extends card life. The DTC550 resides on a LAN, just like any other workgroup printer, while Fargo's optional Print Security software provides extra levels of security against unauthorized access and printing.
