Ergonomic and Functional Design
With a large, ¼ VGA display, graphics capability, full function 43 key
keypad, and optional pistol grip, the Intermec 5020 RF is appropriate for a variety
of data collection tasks on the shop floor, in the retail store front, and on
the production line. With an optional 802.11 or OpenAir2.4 GHz radio, the 5020
can be easily configured for either batch or wireless to suit the particular
needs of the application and user environment.
Enhanced Connectivity
The Intermec 5020 eases the technology transition for data collection by offering
the latest familiar IT standards as well as tools specifically designed to make
multiple, remotely connected devices easier to install, manage, and support
over the long term. The Windows® CE operating system offers pre-installed
standard connectivity protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, UDP+, and DHCP. The Intermec
5020 Data Collection PC Remote Unit Manager significantly reduces support time
and cost by allowing all 5020 devices to be managed over the Internet from any
PC with a browser.
Intermec 5020 RF Optional Equipment
To further protect your hardware investment, and take advantage of the latest
technologies, the Intermec 5020 comes with a PC-Card slot for radio, modem,
or memory expansion. The Intermec 5020 also has an optional handle with trigger
scan activation, serial communications adapter, charge dock with IrDA communicator,
charge dock with serial communications, 4-pack battery charger, and holster.
