The Magtek Excella STX utilizes a single-feed check operation which allows for a compact design with feature-rich options: it prints on the front and the back the check, reads MICR data and scans both sides of the check in a single pass, creating high-quality color, grayscale or black and white images in the most common file formats used in the industry. The Excella STX also performs as a hybrid scanner by offering single-side scanning of standard ID cards (e.g. driver's licenses) with the same device with no additional accessories required. A USB interface and optional 3-track magnetic stripe reader make the Excella STX the complete check scanning solution.
