The S2 from Smartvue offers a wealth of advanced features like Extreme Range MIMO 802.11pre-n wireless, the most advanced human eye imaging solution available and instant remote access and alert through mobile phone or PC. With 128bit encrypted USB IP surveillance key protection the S2 is the only one of its kind. Fused into this unit is an embedded computer running on 1.3GHz Intel Celeron or 300MHz PowerPC with a Debian Linux OS. It features Tamron Super Sharp IR Day/Night camera and a DVM (Digital Video Manager) with up to 250GB storage capacity. The S2 is capable of interfacing wirelessly with up to 10 remote cameras. It utilizes IEEE's 802.11n wireless protocol and Pixim's Digital Pixel System (DPS), which includes CMOS sensors and uses H.264 compression from ITU-T's VCEG.
