The Z-6082 in-counter vertical laser scanner from Zebex utilizes two laser diodes which scan in 8 directions at once, enabling 32 scan lines at a rate of 2,400 scans per second. Coupled with ZEBEX proprietary Z-SCAN hardware decoding technology, the unit delivers superb scanning performance for today's retail environment. The entire unit is packed in a rugged, cubical, aluminum dye-cast housing to meet IP54 standards for protection against splashed water and dust. It also features a visual diagnostic blue LED that provides immediate feedback of scan status, increasing accuracy and productivity. Other notable characteristics include barcode-stitching technology, easy on-site configuration, instant "objective-fly-by" automatic wake-up, optional RFID reader, and provision EAS antenna.
