The Brady FR22 Fixed UHF RFID Reader is a versatile tool designed for the automated collection and exchange of data across various platforms and use cases. It’s perfectly suited for activities like asset tracking, inventory control, inspection labeling, RFID labeling, and temperature indicating labeling. The FR22 is equipped with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LAN, USB, and GPIO, and it even provides HDMI video output. It operates on a Linux system, enabling edge computing, which allows users to run plugins or applications directly on the device. The FR22 is powered by a quad-core A7 1.1GHz processor. With 1GB of RAM and 8GB of flash storage, the FR22 can read up to 1000 tags per second, distinguishing it from other readers in terms of efficiency. To enhance its flexibility, the FR22 also supports an optional 16-port antenna multiplexer and a beam-forming antenna with 28 individual beams for directionality detection.
