The PortServer TS family of terminal servers delivers simple, reliable, and cost effective EIA-232/422/485 serial-to-Ethernet connectivity for a wide range of applications. The PortServer TS provides hardware independent solutions that allow access to network server applications supporting TCP/IP. PortServer TS incorporates Digi's patented RealPort software, which provides local serial port functionality as well as incoming and outgoing Rlogin and Telnet sessions on each port. The Digi Port Authority - Remote (DPA-Remote) gives PortServer TS users a management tool for monitoring network and serial activity from a Windows or UNIX-based client or server.

A single AccelePort C/X host PCI Universal (3.3V & 5V) adapter, which includes a powerful on-board processor, can support up to eight C/CON Concentrators, providing up to 128 surge-protected ports from a single slot on your server. A system can start out with eight or sixteen ports and easily expand by adding C/CON concentrators. For ease of installation and optimum flexibility, the concentrators can be located up to 1,000 feet (305 meters) from the host server. A fiber optic cabling option allows you to locate your workgroups up to 1.25 miles (2 km) apart.

The Digi One SP device server easily allows any device with a serial port to be connected to Ethernet. The compact design of the Digi One SP delivers cost-effective performance and capability in one of the smallest form factors available. The Digi One SP delivers efficient serial-to-Ethernet connectivity and is ideal for applications where TCP Socket, UDP Socket, or UDP multicast functionality is needed.
