ConnectPort TS16 Serial to Ethernet

AnywhereUSB is a network-enabled USB hub. It is the first remote networking solution to utilize USB Over IP technology, making it easy to connect USB devices anywhere on a wired or wireless LAN, while eliminating the need for locally-attached host PCs. AnywhereUSB/5 provides five USB ports, which deliver the same Plug and Play user experience as onboard USB ports. Software drivers are loaded onto a host PC or server, enabling remote devices to communicate with the host, without changing existing application software. Peripheral devices can be centrally managed and monitored from a remote server or PC via an IP address.

PortServer TS 2/4 MEI (Multi-Electrical Interface, RS-232/422/485) makes it easy to connect any serial device to your network. It combines the inherent benefits of data networking with proven asynchronous connectivity to deliver powerful, yet simple Ethernet connectivity for all your serial devices. PortServer TS 2/4 MEI delivers universal and powerful features including data security via SSH v2, port buffering, and full SNMP management, making it ideal for applications like console management where device management and monitoring are critical.

PortServer TS delivers standard serial-to-Ethernet connectivity simply and reliably. It easily addresses the growing need to connect individual devices to the network over industry standard Ethernet in many applications. PortServer TS is ideal for applications requiring COM ports or where TCP/UDP Sockets, or UDP multicast functionality is required. It includes Digi's patented RealPort COM port redirector technology which makes it possible to establish a connection between the host and networked serial device by creating a local COM or TTY port on the host computer, allowing existing software applications to work without modification.
