HID Access Control Reader

Using 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology, the iCLASS RK40 6130 provides a powerful solution. Combine a contactless card presentation with a personal identification number (PIN) to support dual authentication of identity or configure the panel for single-factor authentication, using only a card or a PIN. The PIN can be verified either at the access control panel or locally by the keypad reader. When verified locally, the PIN must be programmed into the iCLASS card. Featuring crisp architectural styling, the keypad reader has an elegantly curved faceplate. The 12-position weatherproof keypad uses discrete switches to provide positive tactile response, optionally reinforced by an audible tone. The keypad also features a waterproof silicone rubber boot, vandal-resistant metal keycaps, and backlit numbering.

The 4045 ADA-compliant 12-position keypad features large white-on-black numbers, enabling PIN entry or programming, with optional audio feedback and a raised dot on the 5 key. For extra security, 4045's keypad incorporates the "invalid PIN" lockout feature, preventing unauthorized trial-and-error PIN code entry.

The HID 5375 Reader is ideal for Long read range distance (up to 6' with ProxPass). Autotune allows read range to be maintained within four inches of metal. Wiegand, Clock-and-Data, RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 output modes are configurable. "Parking hold" feature ensures accurate detection of vehicles in parking lanes. Power requirements: 12 or 24 VDC (configurable).

This reader employs a high reliability, consistent read range characteristics, and low power consumption in a single, easy-to-install package. Features multicolor LED, internal or host control of the LED, and/or beeper and a beeper "off" switch for silent operation. The 5352 also provides Wiegand protocol interface compatibility with all standard access control systems. The HID 5352 offers an optional, fully integrated personal identification number keypad for heightened security. Can be mounted to glass (using the optional glass mounting kit).

The 5368 proximity card reader's potted electronics and slim, attractive design are ideal for indoor or outdoor mounting. It accepts 5- to 16-volts, meeting most voltage requirements and is available with Wiegand or Clock-and-data interfaces. Allows easy upgrade from magstripe to a proximity reader which means there is no rewiring or pulling of new cable required. The 5368 offers a high reliability, consistent read-range and low power consumption in an easy-to-install package. It also mounts directly onto metal with no change in read range performance.

The 5398 easily installed and maintained with the use of replaceable covers and is available with a Wiegand or Clock-and-Data interface. The 5398 provides high reliability, consistent read range and low power consumption while features include multicolor LED and internal control or host control of the LED and beeper. It mounts directly on metal with minimal impact on the read range performance and it's available in two cover designs with four colors to match any decor.
